Smitten Valentines can enjoy cream teas in the idyllic surroundings of Cheam Village this weekend.

Couples can treat their loved ones to afternoon tea and cakes at the Old Rectory in Cheam on Sunday 12 February.

There will be two pre-booked sittings, one at 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm.

Home-made Cream Teas - made that day - with three flavours of sandwich, including smoked salmon, heart-shaped scones, hand-picked hand-made strawberry jam, cream - or low-fat alternative if pre-ordered - plus our famous home-made cakes and pink muffins will be on offer.

The cakes are made by Wendy Baker of local catering co Elephant, and Anna Beazeley, of Epsom, a private chef who works for royalty and dukes.

Choice of Yorkshire Tea or Mariage Freres 'King of Earl Grey' tea imported from Paris will be available.

Cost of the afternoon treats is £19.50 per head.
